Privacy policy

This policy explains what information MicroJelly processes when you visit the site or join a public game.

Information you provide

You may choose a cell name and color. Cell names are displayed to other players in the same public room. Do not use your real name or include personal information in a cell name.

Game and connection information

The service processes movement commands, gameplay events, room membership, scores, and other information required to run a real-time match. The hosting infrastructure also receives standard connection information such as your IP address, browser request data, and timestamps for operation, security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.

Information stored in your browser

MicroJelly uses browser storage to remember preferences such as your cell name, color, graphics setting, best solo score, and locally selected AI options. This information remains on your device unless you clear your browser data.

Human verification

Public matchmaking uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare may process device, browser, network, and interaction information to provide this security service. Learn more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Advertising

Advertising is currently disabled. If advertising is enabled, MicroJelly may use Google AdSense or AdSense H5 Games Ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, device information, and activity data to provide, measure, personalize, or limit advertising according to your region and consent choices. Where required, a Google-certified consent message will be shown before advertising storage or personalized ads are used. Retention

Active game state is temporary and public rooms reset regularly or are removed when empty. Operational and security logs may be kept for a limited period when needed to maintain the service, investigate abuse, or diagnose failures.

Sharing

Information is shared only with service providers needed to host, secure, and operate MicroJelly, or when required by law. Current providers include Bluehost for hosting and Cloudflare for human verification. Google will become an advertising provider only if advertising is enabled.

Your choices

You can play solo without joining a public room, clear MicroJelly data through your browser settings, decline optional advertising choices when a consent message is presented, or stop using the service. Browser privacy tools may affect Turnstile or future advertising features.

Children

MicroJelly is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should supervise use by anyone who cannot consent to data processing in their location.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the game, hosting, or advertising setup changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Questions can be sent through the options on the contact page.
